Before You Trust, Verify

Respire USA is an independent verification platform and public discovery directory. We help people, communities, organizations and businesses find useful entities and understand the evidence behind the claims, credentials, programs and activities that matter to their decisions.

Where This Came From

Respire began with a practical discovery problem: useful organizations, services, programs and sustainable systems existed, but people often had difficulty finding them and understanding what their claims actually meant. The directory was built to close that discovery gap across consumer, community and business needs. As the verification problem became clearer, Respire developed a deeper assessment system to examine identity, claims, credentials, relationships and supporting evidence. The assessment engine now strengthens the original discovery mission rather than replacing it.

The Ground This Covers

Respire's experience sits in the places where claims are hardest to check.

Manufacturing and Materials

How things are actually made, and what the production record supports.

Claims and Credentials

What an organization says, and whether the credential behind it resolves to a verifiable record.

Supply Relationships

Who is connected to whom, and what can be established about those relationships.

Counterparties

Who you would be dealing with, examined within a defined scope.

What Respire Holds To

Public-Source Investigation

Work that starts from the record anyone could in principle check, not from private assertion.

Competent Authority Evidence

Going to the source that can actually settle a question, rather than the source that is easiest to reach.

Human Judgment

Review by a person is a deliberate control in the process, not a formality applied to an automated result.

Independence

The finding does not change based on who asked for the work or who funded it.

Context over Ranking

No league table, no grades, no scores. What is known, within the scope it was established.

Transparency without Overstating

Where the record does not support a stronger conclusion, Respire says so rather than rounding up.

Inclusion over ranking. Context over judgment. Transparency over labels.

Those three lines govern the directory. Appearing in it is not an endorsement, a public summary is not a guarantee, and Respire does not convert an examination into a grade.

How the Work Runs

The verification gate, the Five Pillars, and how evidence and contradictions are handled.

What It Cannot Establish

The boundaries of an assessment, stated plainly.
