Corrections / Disputes
If you believe a public Respire directory record contains inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information, this is the route to raise it.
What to Bring
Six things. The more precise the submission, the faster it can be reviewed.
The Record at Issue
Which listing, profile or statement you are challenging. A link is ideal.
The Specific Point
Not the listing as a whole. Quote or describe the exact information you dispute.
The Correction Requested
What the record should say instead, and why that is the accurate position.
Supporting Sources
Links, record numbers, registry entries or citations. A correction needs evidence, not just an objection.
Your Relationship to the Subject
Whether you are the subject, connected to it, or unconnected. This is context, not a disqualifier.
Confidentiality Considerations
Anything in the submission that should not be made public, and why.
What Submitting Does, and Does Not Do
Submission does not guarantee a change. Respire reviews corrections and disputes under its evidence and review process, and updates follow Respire's review and controlled publication process.
Submit a Correction
Not a Correction?
Asking Respire to examine something that is not yet covered is an assessment request, not a correction. General questions go to Contact.
