Frequently Asked Questions

What the directory is, what an assessment covers, and what Respire will not claim.

About Respire and the Directory

What Is Respire USA?

An independent verification platform and public discovery directory.

Who Is the Directory For?

People, consumers, communities, organizations, businesses and professionals looking for useful entities or better context behind them.

What Does Respire Verify?

Respire examines identity, operating reality, credentials, certifications, regulatory position, relationships, supply-chain representations, operational consistency and other material evidence within a defined scope.

Is Respire a Rating or Review Site?

No. The directory runs on three principles: inclusion over ranking, context over judgment, transparency over labels. There are no scores, grades, stars, tiers or badges, and Respire does not convert an examination into a rating.

Does Directory Inclusion Mean Respire Endorses an Organization?

No. Directory information and verification are presented within defined scopes and should not be read as a blanket endorsement.

Why Might a Listing Focus on a Program Rather Than a Whole Company?

Because the relevant subject may be a specific program, product, credential or activity. Respire preserves that scope rather than extending a conclusion beyond the evidence reviewed.

Assessments

Are All Launch Listings Assessed?

Respire intends to complete current-engine assessments for launch records before their approved verification information is published.

Are Full Assessments Public?

Not by default. Public directory information may include an approved Respire Verification Summary; the underlying assessment remains private unless Respire affirmatively publishes it.

What Is a Respire Verification Summary?

Respire has not supplied wording for this answer yet. It is held here rather than written on Respire's behalf.

Can an Organization Request Its Own Assessment?

Yes. Organizations may seek independent verification of their own material claims, credentials, products, supply relationships and operations. Respire reviews each request before accepting work.

Can Someone Request an Assessment of Another Organization?

Appropriate requests can come from individuals, communities, organizations, businesses and other users. Respire reviews each request before accepting work. Submitting a request creates an intake request only; it does not automatically initiate an assessment and does not establish that submitted information is true.

Does Payment Affect the Result?

No. Payment funds the work. It does not buy a favorable finding or determine publication. Respire's independence applies regardless of who requests or funds the work.

Accuracy, Currency and Limits

How Are Corrections or Disputes Handled?

Use the Corrections / Disputes pathway. Submit the record, the specific point you are challenging, and supporting evidence. Submission does not guarantee a change; updates follow Respire's review and controlled publication process.

How Current Is Directory Information?

Respire has not supplied wording for this answer yet. It is held here rather than written on Respire's behalf.

What Is Monitoring and Reassessment?

Respire has not supplied wording for this answer yet. It is held here rather than written on Respire's behalf.

What Are the Limitations of a Respire Assessment?

Public Respire information is informational and scope-limited. It should not be presented as a guarantee of safety, legality, regulatory compliance, financial condition, future performance or absence of risk.
